Neil Wooler - 500 not out!

Congratulations to Neil who has now played 500 games for Portslade Athletic...a fantastic achievement! Especially as he has had to come back from Cyprus for the last 3 years to reach this milestone having emigrated after 496 appearances. He has played about 45000 minutes, 750 hours or 31 days for the club! Who would begrudge him a bit of sun and sea and sand....don't burn your boots yet, Neil, we may need you again next season!

6-a-side Champions!

Portslade Athletic ran out worthy winners in the inaugural Brighton League 6-a-side tournament held at the University of Brighton. 18 teams took part with Portslade eventually beating Hikers Rest 3-0 in the final. 6 wins in as many games and with only 1 goal conceded made the victory even more impressive .
